Flint is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Flint follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. I had the deluxe pho and pork belly boa and I didn't like it.

Those were the best spicy fried pork dumplings I have had in a very long time. This place is the real deal. My food was made to order and worth the little weight. Go play in the wine store while you wait for your food. I asked for spicy pork dumplings, and it was the perfect spice. No notes!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MaMang – Flint, Michigan Order: Deluxe Pho ($20) & Shrimp Net Rolls ($5) I drove 70 miles each way to try MaMang at the Flint Farmers Market, and overall it was worth the trip. The Deluxe Pho has a tasty broth that is not too salty and not greasy, which immediately sets it apart from a lot of average pho. The meat was very tender, and the meatballs were better than most Asian restaurants, avoiding that ultra-processed, rubbery texture that’s so common. The portion size is spot on for a farmers market setting—filling without being excessive, leaving room to try other vendors. The Shrimp Net Rolls were very crispy with a good amount of shrimp, especially for $5, making them a clear value win. Simple, well-executed, and satisfying. From a pricing standpoint, the pho is on the upper end, but given the quality, execution, and overall experience, it’s worth trying—especially if you appreciate clean broth and properly prepared meat. Bottom line: MaMang delivers high-quality, well-prepared Vietnamese food. The Shrimp Net Rolls are an easy yes, and the Deluxe Pho stands out for broth quality and meat texture. Not cheap, but absolutely worth a visit if you’re nearby—or willing to

Lacked warmth from the staff and not a lot of great space to wait for your order (though that's not really their fault). We ordered the Goi Ga (chicken/cabbage salad) and it was delicious, unfortunately, the chicken seemed a little odd in texture, like maybe it wasn't cooked enough so we ended up picking it out. We ordered the Spam Musubi which was good, lacked...something...its just one and not the biggest portion for the cost in my opinion. In addition to that we tried shrimp net rolls. The flavor was fantastic but unfortunately some of shrimp inside still had bits of the tail on. We were really excited to try this spit and we were super disappointed but we'll be trying it again at some point un hopes it was an off day.
